1. 58 As regards ABN Amro’s argument that its dividend policy, on the basis of which it is obliged to pay to the Dutch State a dividend of 40% of the reported annual profit, would prevent it from accumulating funds which could be used for acquisitions, ABN Amro itself recognises that such a policy is the normal means of remunerating shareholders.

58 Die Klägerin räumt im Rahmen ihres Vorbringens, ihre Dividendenpolitik, nach der sie verpflichtet sei, 40 % ihres erklärten jährlichen Gewinns an den niederländischen Staat abzuführen, hindere sie daran, Kapital zu bilden, das zum Erwerb von Beteiligungen dienen könnte, selbst ein, dass eine solche Politik der normalen Art und Weise der Vergütung der Aktionäre entspreche.
