Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Brennkammerbaugruppe für ein Airbagmodul eines Kraftfahrzeugs, mit einem eine Brennkammer umschließenden Brennkammergehäuse und mit einer Gehäuseaufnahme, in der das Brennkammergehäuse derart anzuordnen ist, dass das Brennkammergehäuse mit seiner äußeren Oberfläche entlang einer inneren Oberfläche der Gehäuseaufnahme verläuft, wobei in dem Brennkammergehäuse einerseits und der Gehäuseaufnahme andererseits jeweils Austrittsbereiche vorgesehen sind, die bei bestimmungsgemäßer Anordnung des Brennkammergehäuses in der Gehäuseaufnahme einander derart räumlich zugeordnet sind, dass in der Brennkammer erzeugtes Gas durch die Austrittsbereiche des Brennkammergehäuses und der Gehäuseaufnahme hindurch in die Umgebung austreten kann.
