10. 258 According to the scheme of the basic regulation, the purpose of constructing the normal value is to determine the selling price of a product as it would be if that product were sold in its country of origin or in the exporting country and consequently it is the expenses relating to sales on the domestic market which must be taken into account in calculating the constructed value (see, by analogy, Case C-69/89 Nakajima v Council [1991] ECR I-2069, paragraph 64, and the case-law cited).

258 Da nach dem System der Grundverordnung die rechnerische Ermittlung des Normalwerts nämlich dazu dient, den Verkaufspreis zu bestimmen, den ein Erzeugnis hätte, wenn es in seinem Ursprungs‐ oder Ausfuhrland verkauft würde, sind dabei die Kosten heranzuziehen, die bei Verkäufen auf dem Inlandsmarkt anfallen (vgl. entsprechend Urteil des Gerichtshofs vom 7. Mai 1991, Nakajima/Rat, C‐69/89, Slg. 1991, I‐2069, Randnr. 64 und die dort angeführte Rechtsprechung).
