1. Madam President, you have already expressed our jointly felt sadness regarding the aircrash and the Greek delegation, but I would still like to say how overcome with grief I was today when I heard of the death of my good friend and colleague and that of other Greek citizens.

Frau Präsidentin, Sie haben bereits unser gemeinsames Mitgefühl anläßlich des Flugzeugunglücks zum Ausdruck gebracht, von dem die griechische Delegation betroffen ist. Ich möchte aber noch hinzufügen, von welcher tiefen Trauer ich erfüllt war, als ich vom Tod meines verehrten Kooperationspartners und der anderen griechischen Kollegen erfahren habe.
