1. Consequently, the apportionment provided for in Article 46(2)(b) must be applied even if it leads necessarily to a reduction in the final benefit, by reason of the fact that years were worked aborad.

Folglich hat die Proratisierung nach Artikel 46 Absatz 2 Buchstabe b auch dann zu erfolgen, wenn sie zwangsläufig zu einer Kürzung der endgültigen Leistung führt, weil im Ausland Jahre zurückgelegt wurden.

Wir müssen feststellen, daß sich die biotechnologische Forschung im Ausland immer schneller entwickelt, ohne daß wir die Möglichkeit einer Direktintervention besäßen, und dies nun in einem Bereich, in dem es möglich sein muß, daß die Fortschritte auf dem Gebiet der Biotechnologie zum Vorteil heutiger und künftiger Generationen genutzt werden.
