1. (b) By way of derogation from Article 7.02(3), the total arc of blind sectors from right ahead to 22,5° abaft the beam on either side shall not exceed 20°.

b) Abweichend von Artikel 7.02 Nummer 3 darf die Summe der Sektoren ohne freies Blickfeld von voraus bis zu 22,5° nach hinten querab nach jeder Seite nicht mehr als 20° betragen.

2. ‘Masthead light’ means a white light, visible throughout a horizontal arc of 225° and projecting a uniform uninterrupted beam over 112° 30' on each side, i.e. from the bow to 22° 30' abaft the beam on each side.

Als „Topplicht“ gilt ein weißes Licht, das über einen Horizontbogen von 225° sichtbar sein muss und ein gleichmäßiges, ununterbrochenes Licht wirft, und zwar 112° 30' nach jeder Seite, d. h. von vorn bis beiderseits 22° 30' hinter die Querlinie.

3. ‘Side lights’ means a green light to starboard and a red light to port; each of these lights shall be visible throughout a horizontal arc of 112° 30' and project a uniform uninterrupted beam, i.e. from the bow to 22° 30' abaft the beam.

Als „Seitenlichter“ gelten an Steuerbord ein grünes Licht und an Backbord ein rotes Licht, von denen jedes über einen Horizontbogen von 112° 30' sichtbar sein muss und ein gleichmäßiges, ununterbrochenes Licht wirft, d. h. von vorn bis 22° 30' hinter die Querlinie.
