It's drifting.

3. 그러나 종종 목표 없이 표류하는 것이 인생입니다.

Often, however, life is an aimless drift.

4. 진정한 목적도, 방향도 없이 표류하는 것만 같았고, 그런 걸 어디에서 찾아야 할지도 몰랐습니다.

I felt like I was adrift with no real purpose and direction, and I didn’t know where to go to find it.

5. 사람들이 이렇게 궁금해 하는 것도 무리가 아니다. ‘세계적으로 도덕관이 이토록 표류하는 원인은 무엇인가?

People rightfully wonder: ‘What is behind this global drifting of morals?

6. 언제가 되었든, 자신의 세상이 솔기가 터지듯 무너져 버리고, 외톨이라 느끼고, 좌절하고, 표류하는 것처럼 느낄 때가 분명히 찾아옵니다.

Sooner or later, I believe that all of us experience times when the very fabric of our world tears at the seams, leaving us feeling alone, frustrated, and adrift.

7. 하지만 이번에는 세계 종교가 직면해 있는 위기를 강조하면서, 사람들의 신앙이 표류하는 현대적 현상 그리고 정치 및 전쟁에 관여하는 종교의 새로운 독단적 태도와 같은 사태 발전에 초점을 맞추고 있다.
