4. 복수개의 지주, 가드레일, 및 경사지게 배치되어 지주와 가드레일을 간격을 두고 서로 연결하는 연결부를 가지고 있어 충격 에너지가 가드레일에 직교하는 방향으로 지주에 직접 전달되는 것을 방지하여 충격 에너지 흡수능력을 향상시킨다.

The present invention comprises: a plurality of supports; a guard rail; and connection parts which are inclined so as to mutually connect the supports and the guard rail at certain intervals, such that an impact energy-absorbing capacity can be improved by preventing impact energy from being directly applied to the supports in a direction orthogonal to the guard rail.

5. 본 발명은 도로의 양측에 설치되는 가드레일(guard rail)에 관한 것으로서, 인접하는 가드레일본체 끝단 사이의 연결부의 표면을 평평하게 하고 가드레일본체 표면에 볼트머리가 나타나지 않게 하여 운전자에게 미관상 좋은 느낌을 갖게 함과 동시에 볼트머리로 인하여 피해를 크게 하지 않도록 하고 차량이 가드레일본체에 충돌할 때에 그 충격을 흡수할 간단한 구조의 수단을 구비하여 저렴한 비용으로 차량 충돌로 인한 피해를 최소화하는 효과를 발휘한다.
