1. Keep off! Wet paint.

2. Varnish applied over wet paint is likely to crackle.

3. Sometimes a finger pressed over semi-wet paint will create a controlled smudge for distant branches.

4. I brushed up against the door, and some of the wet paint came off onto my coat.
