1. After treatment one patient developed a grade 2 trismus, another showed grade 3 abacterial salivary gland inflammation with severe pain requiring opioid medication.

2. The distances from the point of the tragus to the ala nasi, to the angle of the mouth and to the point of the chin measured with a tape-measure and the trismus before the operation and on days 1, 3 and 5 after the operation were used as parameters.
