1. In posterior dislocations the popliteal artery is normally overstretched between hiatus of adductor magnus m. and sural branches (P I), whereas anterior dislocations showed a popliteal artery lesion near by sural branches (P II) or between sural branches and the end of tibiofibular trunc (P III).

3. Conditioned visual stimuli (CS+) Coterminated with a noxious transcutaneous stimulation applied to the sural nerve on 50% of trials (unconditioned stimuli)

4. Results: In supracondylar fractures of the femur and posterior dislocations the lesion of popliteal artery was always found between hiatus of adductor magnus m. and sural branches (popliteal segment P I).

5. A sural nerve biopsy was taken from a patient aged 28 suffering from Fabry's disease (Angiokeratoma corporis diffusum universale). It demonstrated that the peripheral nervous system is involved in a characteristic manner.

6. Although on examination by light microscopy the sural nerve proved to be normal, the clinical diagnosis of adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN) in its juvenile form may be assumed, in view of the clinical symptoms and the evidence of adrenocortical insufficiency revealed by the ACTH test.
