2. 25 Objective: To observe the effect of sitz bath with continence Chinese herbal fumigant on patients with mixed hemorrhoid surgery.

3. Applying Betadine topically on the outer vaginal area , and soaking in a sitz bath or soaking in a bathtub of warm water may be helpful for relieving symptoms of burning and vaginal pain after intercourse .

Astringent herbs such as yarrow, witch hazel, and white oak bark, vulnerary herbs such as calendula and comfrey, antiseptic herbs such as sage and myrrh, and a mild topical analgesic such as lavender can be made into strong decoctions, which can be applied to the perineum via a peri-wash or sitz bath
