1. Their diagnostic value is not better than that of general laboratory tests, roentgenological investigations and iliac crest biopsy.

2. Besides of the roentgenological differential diagnosis the meaningful theories in literature about aetiology and pathogenesis are referred and discussed.

3. On the basis of routine anamnestic and roentgenological evaluations of adult patients in our hospital, we found that there tended to be rather an increase of the disease which wasnot caused by the bovine type.
