1. This surface is considered to represent the contact of postglacial estuarine alluvium with Pleistocene sediments.

2. Debris infilled the postglacial gorges of the streams and spread across a partly dissected alluvial fan.

3. Unit 5 (postglacial sand) is a shoreface deposit on the seaward front of the former moraine.

4. As a result of these postglacial processes, temporal lakes form, and thus lacustrine fine-grained sedimentation intercalates with alluvial coarse-grained layers.

5. Eight to ten per cent of the postglacial lavas and tephras and about 25 per cent of the historical ones are acid or intermediate.

6. The soil conditions at the site consist of a 9 m thick sand layer on normally consolidated, compressible, postglacial alluvial deposits to depths estimated to exceed 200 m.

7. The settlement nuclei of the villages Bräuhof, Archkogel, Mosern and Untertressen in the west of the municipality are completely on alluvial plains, slope debris areas and ground moraines which are mostly in the Würm-glacial, sometimes postglacial originated.
