1. There's the aggregate and flagelliform silk glands which combine to make the sticky capture spiral of an orb web.

2. This is the silk that's used to make the frame and radii of an orb web, and also the safety trailing dragline.

3. The spider builds a spiral orb web at dawn or dusk, commonly in long grass a little above ground level, taking it approximately an hour.

4. Golden orb web spiders (Nephila antipodiana) are a common species found all over the world, particularly in tropical areas including in Southeast Asia and Australia.

6. "Dragline" silk is used to create the supporting strands that anchor the endpoints of an orb web to tree branches overhanging rivers or lakes and forms the radial threads in the web.
