1. Many diplomats attended a naval review to mark the anniversary of the end of the war.

2. Here she participated in the naval review, during which she was visited by Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels on 4 September.

3. On 13 October 2002 she also served as the lead ship in the international naval review celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.

4. The ten battleships departed France the next day, taking less than two weeks to cross the Atlantic, and arrived in New York on 26 December to parades, celebrations, and a full naval review by Secretary Daniels.
