1. The trustee has a legal interest in the property; the beneficiaries have an equitable interest.

2. Users have eight days to pay the ticket, after which legal interest and costs accumulate.

3. There are, nevertheless, features of the Maastricht text which raise questions of general legal interest, irrespective of its fate.

4. Upon a loan, only legal interest can be received; but upon Bottomry any interest may be legally reserved which the parties agree upon.

5. 32 As appears from paragraphs 30 and 31 of the contested order, the action brought before the Court of First Instance was dismissed as manifestly inadmissible on the ground that the AIT could not show a legal interest in bringing proceedings.
