1. The weapons policy of the City School District of the City of New York enumerates the following items as weapons: (a) pistol, handgun, firearm silencer, electronic dart gun; (b) shotgun, rifle, machinegun, or any weapon that simulates or is adaptable for use as a machine gun; (c) switchblade knife, gravity knife, cane sword; (d) billy club, blackjack, bludgeon, chucka stick, metal knuckles; (e) sandbag and sandclub; (f) slingshot; (g) explosive, incendiary bomb, bombshell; and (h) airgun or spring gun (e.g., a BB gun).
