1. Add fabric softener during the final rinse.

2. Fabric conditioner is added during the final rinse.

3. By combining drying with the use of a disinfectant impregnated cloth in which case the final rinse is also omitted.

4. Reuse of Rinse Water : In order to minimise the volume of effluents , the waste water that is less polluted in the industrial process may be used in rinsing , hor instance , in the mercerising of yarn , the final rinse water containing little alkali is used for the first and second rinsing of yarn containing excess alkali .
