1. Its authority can reach beyond the veil of death, on into the eternities.

2. The Church provides the teachings, authority, and ordinances necessary to perpetuate family relationships to the eternities.

3. We encounter many bumps, bends, and forks in the road of life that leads to the eternities.

4. The cradle rocks above an abyss and common sense tells us that our existence is but a brief crack of light between two eternities of darkness.

5. Because Satan understands that true happiness in this life and in the eternities is found in the form of family, he does everything in his power to destroy it.
