1. In order to prove whether the evaporation of inland water bodies can be determined by gradient measurements of the vertical flux of water vapour, two different methods in the scope of this preliminary study test the possibilities of a numerical determination of the Austausch coefficient of water vapour in adiabatic air layering near the water surface.
