1. Third, God Charged Us to Subdue the Earth

셋째, 하나님께서는 우리에게 땅을 정복하라고 명하셨습니다

2. To our original parents, Adam and Eve, Jehovah said: “Fill the earth and subdue it.”

여호와께서는 우리의 첫 조상인 아담과 하와에게 “땅에 충만하라, 땅을 정복하라”고 말씀하셨습니다.

3. With effort we can develop the capacity to subdue those impulses that lead to degrading and evil actions.

우리가 노력하면 수치스럽고 사악한 행동으로 이끄는 그러한 충동을 억제할 수 있는 능력을 키울 수 있습니다.

4. The strengthening and the shifting of jet streams can also intensify or subdue seasonal weather conditions.

제트 기류가 강해지고 그 진로가 바뀜에 따라, 계절적인 기후 변화도 심해지거나 약해질 수 있습니다.

5. + 3 He had his haunt among the tombs; and up to that time absolutely nobody was able to bind him fast even with a chain, 4 because he had oftentimes been bound with fetters and chains, but the chains were snapped apart by him and the fetters were actually smashed; and nobody had the strength to subdue him.

그리고 그때까지 아무도 결코 그를 쇠사슬로도 묶어 놓을 수 없었다. 4 여러 번 족쇄와 쇠사슬로 묶인 적이 있었지만, 쇠사슬을 끊고 족쇄를 실제로 부수어 버렸기 때문이다.
