The mixed metal oxide catalyst according to the present invention effectively adsorbs and separates a nitrogen oxide as well as oxidizes, with high efficiency, NO, CO, and HC, etc. included in a lean-burn exhaust gas, enables a perfect dissolution of NOx together with CO in the case where oxygen does not coexist, and enables direct dissolution, or reductive dissolution of NOx at a low temperature of 500°C or less using coexisting CO or HC with regard to treating NOx and N2O in the case where oxygen exists, which is difficult to be dissolved without additional use of a reducing agent.

본 발명에 따른 혼합금속산화물 촉매는 희박 연소 배기가스에 포함된 NO, CO 및 HC 등을 고효율로 산화시킬 뿐 아니라 질소산화물을 효과적으로 흡착 분리하며, 산소가 공존하지 않는 경우에는 CO와 더불어 완벽한 NOx 분해를 가능케 하고, 환원제의 추가 사용 없이는 분해가 매우 어려운 산소가 존재하는 경우의 NOx 및 N2O 처리에 있어서도 직접 분해, 또는 공존하는 CO 또는 HC에 의하여 500 이하의 낮은 온도에서 NOx의 환원 분해를 가능케 한다.
