2. (Ac 17:1-12) On account of threatened mob violence at Beroea, Paul was forced to depart from Macedonia.

(행 17:1-12) 베레아에서는 폭도들의 난동의 위협이 있었기 때문에 바울은 마케도니아를 떠나지 않으면 안 되었다.

3. Though driven from his kingdom twice, Antigonus recovered it each time, and Macedonia continued to be ruled by the Antigonids until coming under Roman administration.

안티고노스는 두 번이나 자신의 왕국에서 쫓겨났지만 그때마다 왕국을 되찾았으며, 마케도니아는 로마가 관할하게 될 때까지 안티고노스 왕조의 통치를 계속 받게 되었다.

4. During Paul’s second missionary journey, the Spirit directed Paul and his companions—Silas, Timothy, and Luke—to travel across the Aegean Sea into Macedonia (see Acts 16:6–12).

바울의 제2차 선교 여행 때, 영은 바울과 그의 동반자들인 실라, 디모데, 누가에게 에게해를 건너 마게도냐로 가라고 지시했다.( 사도행전 16:6~12 참조) 그렇게 해서 복음이 유럽에서 전파되기 시작했다.

5. As part of the process of European integration, Macedonia was forced to adopt an anti-discrimination law, in which the ruling majority refused to include sexual orientation.

마케도니아는 유럽 통합 과정의 일부분으로, 차별금지법을 시행해야만 하는 입장에 놓여져 있는데, 현재 집권 다수당은 이 법안에 성적 정체성에 관련된 사항을 포함시키는 것을 거부하였다.
