1. Greece now became the world power, and Alexander ‘ruled with extensive dominion and did according to his will.’

이제 그리스가 세계 강국이 되었고, 알렉산더는 “광범위한 지배권으로 통치하고 자기 뜻대로 행”하였습니다.

2. 2 Jehovah gave Adam and Eve life, dominion over the animals, and authority over the entire earth.

2 여호와께서는 아담과 하와에게 생명을 주셨고, 동물들을 다스릴 권리와 온 땅을 정복할 권한도 주셨습니다.

3. The Grecian, or Hellenic, dominion continued, though in divided form, until it was finally absorbed by the rising power of Rome.

그리스 즉 헬라는 분열된 형태이기는 해도 계속 지배권을 이어가다가 결국 신흥 세력인 로마 강국에게 흡수되어 버렸다.

4. Any man in this Church who abuses his wife, who demeans her, who insults her, who exercises unrighteous dominion over her is unworthy to hold the priesthood.

이 교회에서 누구든 아내를 학대하고, 인격을 손상시키고, 모욕하고, 불의한 지배력을 행사하는 사람은 신권을 소유하기에 합당하지 않습니다.

5. No other living creature on earth was on man’s plane of life or on man’s level of competence —able to act like God in the exercise of dominion.
