1. There were goats tied up, chickens trussed up, large bowls of water containing live fish that writhed and flopped about, a couple of live crocodiles with mouths and tails tied, a water turtle, wild pigs and cages of parrots and other birds.

매어 놓은 염소들, 꾸러미에 들어 있는 닭들, 펄덕거리는 생선을 담은 커다란 물통들, 입과 꼬리가 묶인채로 살아있는 한쌍의 악어, 자라, 멧돼지들, 앵무새와 다른 새들의 새장 등이 가득하였다.
