The air mattress of the invention configured as above enables prevention of bed sores or furuncles of a patient by supplying air through aeration holes of the air supply tube by means of the operation of its air pump so that air may be supplied to outside, that is, the body of the patient via the inner skin and outer skin, to lower the incidence of bed sore or furuncle of the patient by furnishing an additional dehumidifying agent so that moisture of the mattress may be removed on days with high humidity including a summer season, to lessen efforts required from family and caregivers that care for a patient, and to prevent other diseases that can occur on the back or other parts of a patient who lives lying down for an extended period by providing insulating effects and facilitating air circulation based on heater operation.

상기와 같이 구성된 본 발명인 에어 매트리스는 에어펌프의 작동에 의해 에어 공급관의 통기공을 통해 에어를 공급함으로서 내피를 지나 외피를 거쳐 외부 즉, 환자의 몸으로 에어가 공급됨에 따라 환자의 욕창이나 등창 등을 예방할 수 있으며 별도의 제습제가 구비되어 여름철 등 습도가 높은 날에도 매트리스의 습기를 제거하여 환자가 욕창 및 등창을 발생율을 낮추며 아울러 환자를 간호하는 가족 및 간병인의 수고를 덜어주며 특히, 히터의 작동으로 인해 겨울철 등에는 보온의 효과와 더불어 공기의 순환을 원활하게 하여 장기간 누워서 생활하는 환자의 등이나 기타 부위에 발생 가능한 또 다른 질병을 예방할 수 있는 것이다.
