1. (Ac 18:1, 2) When Paul arrived there in the autumn of 50 C.E., Aquila and Priscilla kindly received him into their home.

2. Because of Jewish opposition, Paul “transferred” to the house of Titius Justus, that is, he continued his preaching there; his residence remained with Aquila and Priscilla. —Ac 18:1-7.

3. (Ac 17:15-34) Next Paul went to Corinth, taking up lodging with a Jewish couple, Aquila and Priscilla, and working with them part-time as a tentmaker.

4. When little interest was found among the members of the synagogue, Priscilla and Aquila noticed that Paul transferred the center of his preaching activity to a more favorable location, a house adjoining the synagogue.

브리스길라와 아굴라는 회당 성원들 중에 관심을 가진 사람이 별로 없었기 때문에 바울이 전파 활동의 중심지를 더 우호적인 장소인, 회당에 인접한 한 집으로 옮기는 것을 볼 수 있었습니다.

5. (Romans 1:11, 12) And, as did Aquila and Priscilla, those who open their homes for meetings, perhaps a Congregation Book Study, have the joy and satisfaction of being able to contribute in this way to the advancement of true worship.
