1. Professors Rohweder and Smith of the Department of Agronomy, University of Wisconsin, have determined that a good acre of alfalfa furnishes more than twice the protein as does one of soybeans and three times as much as one of corn.

‘위스컨신’ 대학의 농업 경영학과의 ‘로웨더’와 ‘스미즈’ 교수는 1‘에이커’의 땅에서 생산되는 ‘알팔파’는 동일한 면적에서 생산되는 콩의 2배가 되고 옥수수의 3배가 되는 단백질을 공급해 준다고 판정했다.
