29. Both sides recognized the huge potential for engagement in advancing bilateral trade in travel and tourism services and it was agreed to observe 2017 as a travel and tourism partnership year.

31. Recognizing the high potential of bilateral trade in agribusiness and food processing, the Ministers committed themselves to discuss ways to overcome difficulties related to tariff and logistical barriers for perishable products.

कृषि व्यवसाय एवं खाद्य प्रसंस्करण में द्विपक्षीय व्यापार की उच्च संभावना को स्वीकार करते हुए दोनों विदेश मंत्रियों ने क्षरणशील उत्पादों के लिए टैरिफ एवं संभारतंत्रीय बाधाओं से संबंधित कठिनाइयों को दूर करने के तरीकों पर चर्चा करने की प्रतिबद्धता की।

32. India is taking a lead role in all SAARC mechanisms working towards removal of trade barriers, tariff liberalization and liberalization of trade in services to improve trade among member nations of SAARC.

सार्क के सदस्य देशों के बीच व्यापार में सुधार करने के लिए व्यापार में रूकावट को हटाने, टैरिफ उदारीकरण और सेवा व्यापार के उदारीकरण की दिशा में कार्य कर रहे सभी सार्क तंत्रों में भारत की एक मुख्य भूमिका है।

33. * SUPPORT the ASEAN Regional Action Plan in CITES Trade in Wild Fauna and Flora which aims at effective regional cooperation on improved implementation of CITES, including law enforcement collaboration through ASEAN-WEN;

2. हम वन्य जीव – जंतुओं एवं वनस्पतियों में सी आई टी ई एस व्यापार में आसियान क्षेत्रीय कार्य योजना का समर्थन करते हैं जिसका उद्देश्य सी आई टी ई एस के कार्यान्वयन में सुधार पर कारगर क्षेत्रीय सहयोग करना है जिसमें आसियान – डब्ल्यू ई एन के माध्यम से कानून के प्रवर्तन के क्षेत्र में सहयोग शामिल है;

34. The signing of the Agreements on Trade in Services and Investment last September and their expected entry into force later this year will give a much needed ballast to our economic engagement.

पिछले सितंबर में सेवाओं में व्यापार तथा निवेश पर करारों पर हस्ताक्षर तथा इस साल के उत्तरार्ध में संभावित रूप में उनके लागू होने से हमारी आर्थिक भागीदारी को यथा अपेक्षित प्रेरणा प्राप्त होगी।

35. * The two leaders noted the overall rise in bilateral trade in 2017, but reiterated that bilateral trade, investment and economic activities are not matching with the potential and rates of economic growth in the two countries.

* दोनों नेताओं ने 2017 में द्विपक्षीय व्यापार में होने वाली समग्र वृद्धि पर विचार किया, लेकिन यह ङी दोहराया कि द्विपक्षीय व्यापार, निवेश और आर्थिक गतिविधियां दोनों देशों में मौजूद आर्थिक विकास की संभावनाओं और दरों से मेल नहीं खाती हैं।

36. The Sides also agreed to broaden cooperation through joint promotion of the Indian initiatives on eliminating non-tariff barriers in trade, increasing trade in services and structuring support and development of MSMEs in the BRICS format.

पक्षों ने ब्रिक्स प्रारूप में व्यापार में गैर शुल्क बाधाओं को नष्ट करने, सेवाओं में व्यापार वृद्धि और एमएसएमई का संरचना समर्थन एवं विकास पर भारतीय पहल के संयुक्त प्रोमोशन के माध्यम से सहयोग को व्यापक करने के लिए सहमति जताई।

37. I go back to India convinced that India and the United States can and will do lots of things together to strengthen our strategic partnership in economics, in trade, in climate change, in energy, in counter-terrorism and all related activities.

मैं इस बात के प्रति आश्वस्त होकर भारत जा रहा हूँ कि भारत और संयुक्त राज्य अमरीका अर्थव्यवस्था, व्यापार, जलवायु परिवर्तन, ऊर्जा, आतंकवाद का मुकाबला तथा अन्य संबद्ध गतिविधियों में हमारी सामरिक भागीदारी को सुदृढ़ बनाने के लिए और कार्य कर सकते हैं।

38. * With an aim to devise a long-term strategy on trade enhancement, the two leaders decided to examine various tariff and non-tariff barriers, and agreed to focus on encouraging trade in identified commodities and to expand access of goods and services in both markets.

* व्यापार की वृद्धि पर दीर्घकालिक रणनीति तैयार करने के उद्देश्य से, दोनों नेताओं ने विभिन्न टैरिफ और गैर-टैरिफ बाधाओं की जांच करने का निर्णय लिया और पहचानी गई वस्तुओं में व्यापार को प्रोत्साहित करने तथा दोनों बाजारों में माल और सेवाओं का विस्तार करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने के लिए सहमति जताई।

39. India’s preferential treatment to the LDCs in Trade in Services would involve a cost of Rs. 6.5 crore annually on account of waiver of visa fees and Rs. 2.5 to 3 crore, per annum, for providing training in management and technical consultancy courses to LDC applicants.

भारत द्वारा सेवा व्यापार में एलडीसी को प्राथमिकता देने से वीजा शुल्क की माफी के चलते हर साल 6.5 करोड़ रुपए और एलडीसी आवेदकों को प्रबंधन प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करने एवं तकनीकी परामर्श पाठ्यक्रम उपलब्ध कराने के चलते हर साल 2.5 करोड़ से लेकर 3 करोड़ रुपए तक का बोझ उठाना पड़ेगा।

40. FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGING the progress made against wildlife trafficking in the region through the financial and technical support and assistance from the international community in helping countries in EAS Countries to build resources, expertise and capacity to address the illegal exploitation and trade in wild fauna and flora.

वन्य जीव – जंतुओं एवं वनस्पतियों के गैर कानूनी शोषण एवं व्यापार से निपटने के लिए संसाधनों, विशेषज्ञता एवं क्षमता का निर्माण करने के लिए ई ए एस देशों में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय समुदाय से वित्तीय एवं तकनीकी सहायता एवं समर्थन के माध्यम से इस क्षेत्र में वन्य जीव दुर्व्यापार के विरूद्ध हुई प्रगति को भी स्वीकार करते हुए,

41. Both Sides welcomed initiatives to promote direct trade in diamonds between India and Russia and gave positive evaluation of the work of the Special Notified Zone (SNZ) at the Bharat Diamond Bourse, noting active support of this project from PJSC ALROSA, i.e. through holding regular rough diamond viewing.

दोनों पक्षों ने भारत एवं रूस के बीच हीरों के प्रत्यक्ष व्यापार को प्रोत्साहित करने की पहल का स्वागत किया और नियमित रूप से कच्चे हीरे को देखकर पीजेएससी एएलआरओएसए से इस परियोजना के सक्रिय समर्थन का उल्लेख करते हुए भारत डायमंड बार्स में विशेष अधिसूचित क्षेत्र (एसएनजेड) के काम का सकारात्मक मूल्यांकन दिया।
