यात्रा व पर्यटन सेवा में द्विपक्षीय व्यापार की संभावनाओं के लिए प्रयासों का स्वागत किया गया जिसमें संगठित रूप से इस क्षेत्र की गतिविधियों को बढ़ाने तथा द्विपक्षीय पर्यटन से संबंधित सूचनाओं के आदान -प्रदान का निर्णय लिया गया ।

65. DPA Division is engaged in carrying out projects in sectors such as civil aviation, energy, transport, ports, highways, telecommunications, electronics, software, auto, tourism, food processing and suggests opportunities to Indian businesses accordingly.

66. Botswana’s attempts to diversify its economy are constrained by water shortages; but “water accounts” are helping the government to identify sectors – including agriculture, mining, and tourism – that can grow with minimal water consumption.

70. The Jordan Tourism Board opened an office in New Delhi in 2009 as part of a long-term strategy to attract tourists from India, and Indian tourists now get two-week visas on arrival at the airport.

जॉर्डन पर्यटन बोर्ड ने भारत से पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करने के लिए दीर्घ अवधि की रणनीति के रूप में 2009 में नई दिल्ली में एक कार्यालय खोला था तथा अब भारतीय पर्यटकों को एयरपोर्ट पर पहुंचने पर दो सप्ताह का वीजा प्राप्त हो जाता है।

71. The Plan of Action envisages a number of steps in the areas of Trade and Investment, Finance, Transport, Food, Agriculture, Forestry, Information and Communication Technology, Tourism, Science, Technology and Innovation, and Mining and Natural Resources Management.

The IBSA Working Groups include those relating to Agriculture, economic (which is trade and industry), social development, education, environment, information society, public service administration, human settlement, transport, defence, energy, science and technology, health, heads of revenue administration, culture and tourism.

75. Some other steps to be implemented include improvement of trade infrastructure, introduction of six-month multiple entry permits for travel, introduction of travel for tourism and pilgrimage in addition to visiting relations and introduction of banking facilities for Cross LoC trade.

76. The State Governments of Uttarakhand, Delhi and Sikkim along with Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam Limited (KMVN) and Sikkim Tourism Development Corporation make logistical arrangements including accommodation, food, transport and porters on the Indian side for the Yatra.

उत्तराखंड, दिल्ली तथा सिक्किम की राज्य सरकारें, भारत-तिब्बत सीमा पुलिस (आई टी बी पी), कुमाऊ मंडल विकास निगम लिमिटेड (के एम वी एन) तथा सिक्किम पर्यटन विकास सहकार साथ मिलकर भारतीय भूभाग की यात्रा के लिए आवास, भोजन, परिवहन तथा कूली सहित संभारतंत्रीय व्यवस्थाएं करते हैं।

77. Joint Secretary (South) (Shri Arun Goyal): Thai companies are especially strong in the infrastructure sector whether tourism, roads, bridges, complexes, housing, and so on, and that is one area where Indian economy is looking actively to have foreign companies come and bring in the expertise.

78. However, with a view to ensuring that genuine tourists are not affected, nationals of Japan with tourist visas, after initial entry into India, may visit another country largely on account of neighbourhood tourism and need to re-enter India within 60 days, before finally exiting.

तथापि यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि वास्तविक पर्यटक प्रभावित न हों, भारत में प्रारंभिक प्रवेश के पश्चात पर्यटक वीजा वाले जापानी राष्ट्रिक पड़ोसी पर्यटन के कारण मोटे तौर पर किसी अन्य देश की यात्रा कर सकते हैं और अंतिम निकास से पहले 60 दिनों के अंदर भारत में पुनः प्रवेश आवश्यक होगा ।

79. The Meeting encouraged more efforts to optimize many activities held by the Centre to promote ASEAN-Korea cooperation, mainly in the three areas of trade and investment, culture and tourism, and public relations and information, which includes, among others, the development of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

They agreed to extend scholarships for studies in tourism and hospitality sector, and promote familiarization trips for travel writers and tour operators in a bid to promote tourism.They also agreed to expand the scholarships offered to students by each other for both short-term training and regular degree courses.

वे पर्यटन एवं अतिथि सत्कार के क्षेत्र में अध्ययन के लिए छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान करने और पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए यात्रा लेखकों एवं टूर आपरेटरों के लिए परिचय दौरे को बढ़ावा देने पर सहमत हुए। वे अल्प अवधि के प्रशिक्षण तथा नियमित डिग्री पाठ्यक्रम के लिए एक दूसरे के देशों द्वारा छात्रों को प्रस्तुत छात्रवृत्तियों की संख्या बढ़ाने पर भी सहमत हुए।
