1. Prime Minister Gilani had assured our Prime Minister, when they met in Thimphu, that Pakistan will not allow its soil to be used for terrorist activities against India.

पाकिस्तान के प्रधान मंत्री श्री गिलानी ने हमारे प्रधान मंत्री जी को थिम्पू में आश्वस्त किया था कि पाकिस्तान अपनी भूमि का उपयोग भारत विरोधी आतंकी गतिविधियों के लिए किए जाने की अनुमति नहीं देगा।

2. They also expressed satisfaction that in keeping with the mutual understanding reached at Thimphu during the last SAARC Summit to bridge the trust deficit and restore the dialogue process, that the dialogue had been resumed and that the dialogue had made substantive progress on many issues.

उन्होंने इस बात पर भी संतोष व्यक्त किया कि विश्वास में कमी को दूर करने तथा वार्ता की प्रक्रिया बहाल करने के लिए सार्क की पिछली बैठक के दौरान थिम्पू में हुई आपसी सहमति को ध्यान में रखते हुए वार्ता बहाल हो गई है और यह कि वार्ता से अनेक मुद्दों पर सारवान प्रगति हुई है।
