स्वर्गदूत ने जब दाविद की राजगद्दी की बात की तो वह 2शम 7:12, 13, 16 में दिए वादे की तरफ इशारा कर रहा था। इन आयतों में यहोवा ने भविष्यवक्ता नातान के ज़रिए दाविद से बात की थी और इनके संदर्भ में कई बार परमेश्वर के नाम के लिए चार इब्रानी अक्षर पाए जाते हैं।
