It is also satisfying that the Middle East Peace Process will address the remaining issues on the Israel-Lebanon and Israel-Syria tracks; we believe that the Arab Peace Initiative re-launched at the Arab Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in March this year provides a constructive framework to achieve such a comprehensive peace.

भारतीय परामर्शदाता संघ (मेकॉन, पीडीआईएल और राइट्स) डाई अमोनियम फॉस्फेट, ट्रिपल सुपर फॉस्फेट, डाई केल्शियम फॉस्फेट, फास्फोरिक एसिड और सलफ्यूरिक एसिड का उत्पादन करने के लिए, सीरिया में रॉक फॉस्फेट के उत्पादन में प्रस्तावित वृद्धि, विद्युत संयत्र जैसी संबद्ध आधारभूत सुविधाओं के विस्तार, रेल नेटवर्क, पत्तन सुविधाओं आदि के सुदृढ़ीकरण एवं आधुनिकीकरण और फॉस्फेटिक उर्वरक परिसर की स्थापना के लिए अध्ययन रिपोर्ट तैयार करेगा ।

61. India's engagement in the economic sphere has increased substantially in the aftermath of President Assad's visit: An IT Center is coming up with Indian assistance and would be functional soon; MECON is giving final shape to its feasibility study on utilization of phosphatic resources of Syria; the power project awarded to BHEL is partially funded by us through a US$240 million Line of Credit; and Apollo International of India is up-grading a steel plant in Hama, for which we have extended a Line of Credit of US$25 million

राष्ट्रपति असद की यात्रा के बाद से आर्थिक क्षेत्र में भारत के कार्यकलापों में वृद्धि हुई है। भारत की सहायता से एक आईटी केंद्र का निर्माण किया जा रहा है, जो शीघ्र प्रचालित हो जाएगा; मेकोन सीरिया के फास्फेटिक संसाधनों का उपयोग किए जाने के संबंध में व्यवहार्यता अध्ययन को अंतिम रूप दे रहा है; भेल को सौंपी गई विद्युत परियोजना का आंशिक वित्तपोषण हमारे द्वारा दी गई 240 मिलियन अमरीकी डालर की ऋण श्रृंखलाओं से किया जा रहा है तथा अपोलो इंटरनेशनल आफ इंडिया हामा में एक इस्पात संयंत्र का उन्नयन कर रहा है जिसके लिए हमने 25 मिलियन अमरीकी डालर की ऋण श्रृंखलाएं मुहैया कराई हैं।
