1. 2 Jehovah has swallowed up without compassion all the dwellings of Jacob.

2 यहोवा ने याकूब में रहने की सारी जगह निगल ली हैं, उन पर बिलकुल दया नहीं की।

2. 27 Behold, O God, they acry unto thee, and yet their hearts are swallowed up in their pride.

27 देखो, हे परमेश्वर, वो तुमसे याचना करते हैं, और फिर भी उनके हृदय उनके घमंड से भरे हुए हैं ।

3. *+ 12 Each one threw down his rod, and they became big snakes; but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

+ 12 उन सबने अपनी-अपनी छड़ी ज़मीन पर फेंकी और उनकी छड़ियाँ बड़े-बड़े साँप बन गयीं।

4. 28 And they did look upon shedding the blood of their brethren with the greatest abhorrence; and they never could be prevailed upon to take up arms against their brethren; and they never did look upon death with any degree of terror, for their hope and views of Christ and the resurrection; therefore, death was swallowed up to them by the victory of Christ over it.

28 और उन्होंने अपने भाइयों के रक्तपात को एक बहुत ही घृणित कार्य के रूप में देखा; और वे फिर कभी भी अपने भाइयों के विरूद्ध हथियार उठाने में प्रबल नहीं हो सके; और उन्होंने कभी भी मृत्यु को भय की किसी भी अवस्था के रूप में नहीं देखा, क्योंकि उनकी आशा और समझ मसीह और उसके पुनरुत्थान पर निर्भर थी; इसलिए, मृत्यु पर मसीह की जीत द्वारा उन्होंने उसे सह लिया था ।
