4. Thereafter, the trained Cambodian army detachments have undertaken de-mining operations in Sudan under the aegis of UNMIS, starting from mid-2007.

उसके बाद से प्रशिक्षित कंबोडियाई टुकड़ियां वर्ष 2007 के मध्य से सूडान में सुरंगें हटाने का कार्य कर रही हैं।

5. * Efforts continue to secure the release of four Indian nationals who were abducted along with their Sudanese driver on 13 May near Heglig, Sudan.

6. During the current financial year, in addition to the above, ten agricultural scholarships for Ph.D. and M.Sc. under the India-Africa Plan would also be provided to Sudan.

वर्तमान वित्तीय वर्ष के दौरान उपर्युक्त के अतिरिक्त भारत-अफ्रीका योजना के अंतर्गत पीएचडी और विज्ञान में स्नातकोत्तर के लिए सूडान को कृषि क्षेत्र की 10 छात्रवृत्तियां भी प्रदान की जाएंगी।

7. In addition, special training courses are envisaged for capacity building in South Sudan which include training in agriculture sector, food processing, rural development, oil & natural gas sector, and IT.

8. * Shri Ravindra Prasad Jaiswal (IFS:1999), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Sudan, has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador of India to the State of Eritrea.
