1. 11 “Aaron will present the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement in behalf of himself and his house; afterward he will slaughter the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself.

11 हारून पाप-बलि का बैल सामने लाएगा जो उसके अपने पापों के लिए होगा। वह अपने और अपने घराने के पापों के लिए प्रायश्चित करेगा। इसके बाद वह पाप-बलि का बैल हलाल करेगा।

2. The Law covenant required that a woman, after giving birth, present a sin offering to God.

मूसा के कानून की एक माँग थी कि बच्चे को जन्म देने के बाद एक औरत परमेश्वर के सामने पाप-बलि चढ़ाए।

3. 32 “‘But if he offers a lamb as his sin offering, he should bring a sound female lamb.

32 लेकिन अगर वह आदमी पाप-बलि के लिए मेम्ना देना चाहता है, तो उसे ऐसा मेम्ना देना चाहिए जो मादा हो और जिसमें कोई दोष न हो।

4. 17 The sin offering was accepted only for unintentional sin against the Law, sin committed because of weakness of the flesh.

17 पापबलि सिर्फ तब चढ़ाया जाता था जब कोई इस्राएली किसी कमज़ोरी या असिद्धता की वज़ह से अनजाने में कानून-व्यवस्था के खिलाफ कोई पाप करता।
