समझौते से दोनों देशों के बीच विभिन्न समुद्रीय संस्थाओं के कर्मचारियों और छात्रों के आदान-प्रदान और प्रशिक्षण, व्यावसायिक सामानों के समुद्र और बंदरगाहों पर आवागमन के लिए आवश्यक सूचना एक-दूसरे देशों को देने, समुद्रीय परिवहन में संयुक्त उपक्रमों की स्थापना, जहाजों के निर्माण और मरम्मत, समुद्रीय प्रशिक्षण, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी जिसमें सिम्यूलेटर का विकास, बंदरगाहों पर सुविधाएं और अन्य गतिविधियों में सहायता मिलेगी।
