30. (a) The Government of India enters into a bilateral agreement with the Government of Saudi Arabia annually, whereby a specific quota for Haj seats is allotted by Saudi Government for India every year.

(क) भारत सरकार सऊदी अरब की सरकार के साथ वार्षिक रूप से एक द्विपक्षीय करार पर हस्ताक्षर करती है जिसके द्वारा सऊदी सरकार द्वारा भारत के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष हज सीटों का एक विशिष्ट कोटा आबंटित किया जाता है।

31. (a) & (b) The quota for each country for Haj is fixed by the Government of Saudi Arabia on the basis of certain criteria and India has been allocated a quota of 1,47,000 pilgrims for Haj 2006 II.

विदेश मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (क) एवं (ख)प्रत्येक देश के लिए हज कोटे का निर्धारण सऊदी अरब सरकार द्वारा कतिपय मानदण्डों के आधार पर किया जाता है और भारत को हज 2006 II के लिए 1,47000 हज यात्रियों का कोटा आबंटित किया गया है ।

32. After extensive discussions, the Haj Action Plan, new parameters and rates for accommodation for pilgrims during the forthcoming Haj 2006-II, air transportation arrangements, plan for preparatory activities in India and details of pilgrim facilitation program in Saudi Arabia were finalized.

व्यापक विचार-विमर्श के बाद हज कार्य योजना, आगामी हज 2006 - II के दौरान हज यात्रियों के लिए आवास हेतु नए तौर-तरीके और दरें, वायु मार्ग से परिवहन व्यवस्थाओं, भारत में तैयारी कार्य कलापों के लिए योजना और सऊदी अरब में तीर्थयात्री सुविधा कार्यव्रम के ब्यौरों को अंतिम रूप दिया गया ।

33. (a) Whether the Minister for External Affairs paid a visit to Saudi Arabia in the first half of October 2006 to review the Haj arrangements for the Haj 2006 as reported in the Asian Age dated October 11, 2006;

(क) क्या विदेश मंत्री ने हज़ 2006 हेतु हज़ प्रबंधों की समीक्षा करने के लिए अक्तूबर, 2006 के पूर्वार्द्ध में सऊदी अरब का दौरा किया था जैसा कि दिनांक 11 अक्तूबर, 2006 के ू द एशियन एज़ू में समाचार प्रकाशित हुआ है;

34. And it ' s absurd really to characterize them in any other way , " he said on MSNBC in April 2002 . " I don ' t think that the Saudis are trying to hide anything , " he added on MSNBC in July 2003 . " Saudi Arabia is our ally .

35. Under a scheme set-up by Ministry to assist such aggrieved Indian women, legal and financial assistance has been provided to nearly 87 Indian women if the husband resides in 13 countries (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq, Singapore, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates).

मंत्रालय द्वारा इस प्रकार की पीड़ित महिलाओं को सहायता उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रारंभ की गई योजना के तहत, 13 देशों (यूएसए, यूके, कनाडा, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, न्यूज़ीलैंड, मलेशिया, कुवैत, बहरीन, इराक, सिंगापुर, क़तर, सऊदी अरब तथा संयुक्त अरब अमीरात) में रहने वाले पतियों के मामले में लगभग 87 भारतीय महिलाओं को कानूनी तथा वित्तीय सहायता उपलब्ध कराई गयी है।

36. (a) This Ministry maintains data relating to emigration of workers, i.e. Emigration Check Required (ECR) category passport holders proceeding for overseas employment to the 18 notified ECR countries; namely Afghanistan, Bahrain, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Thailand, UAE and Yemen.

(क) यह मंत्रालय 18 अधिसूचित ईसीआर देशों अर्थात अफगानिस्तान, बहरीन, इंडोनेशिया, इराक, जॉर्डन, कुवैत, लेबनान, लीबिया, मलेशिया, ओमान, कतर, सऊदी अरब, सूडान, दक्षिणी सूडान, सीरिया, थाईलैंड, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात तथा यमन में विदेशों में रोजगार के लिए जाने वाले उत्प्रवासन जांच अपेक्षित (ईसीआर) श्रेणी के पासपोर्टधारक श्रमिकों के उत्प्रवासन से संबंधित आंकड़े रखता है।

37. (d) As per reports received from the Indian Missions, there was discontentment among the workers in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain, due to delayed payment of wages and lack of some basic amenities in the workers’ camps. Indian workers protested in a form that is against the law in these countries.

(घ) भारतीय मिशनों से प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार, वेतन का भुगतान विलंब से किए जाने तथा श्रमिक शिविरों में कुछ बुनियादी सुविधाएं न होने के कारण सऊदी अरब, कुवैत, ओमान तथा बहरीन में कार्यरत श्रमिकों में रोष था, भारतीय श्रमिकों ने इसका जिस प्रकार विरोध किया वह इन देशों के कानून के विरूद्ध था।

38. It is also satisfying that the Middle East Peace Process will address the remaining issues on the Israel-Lebanon and Israel-Syria tracks; we believe that the Arab Peace Initiative re-launched at the Arab Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in March this year provides a constructive framework to achieve such a comprehensive peace.

तथा दोनों देशों एवं दोनों देशों की जनता के बीच सभी मुद्दों के जल्दी और शांतिपूर्ण समाधान की प्रतीक्षा करता है। यह भी संतोषप्रद है कि मध्य पूर्व शांति प्रक्रिया इजरायल-लेबनान और इजरायल-सीरिया से संबंधित शेष मुद्दों का समाधान करेगी; हमारा विश्वास है कि इस वर्ष मार्च में रियाद, सऊदी अरब में आयोजित शिखर बैठक में फिर से शुरू की गई अरब शांति पहल इस तरह की व्यापक शांति प्राप्त करने के लिए रचनात्मक संरचना उपलब्ध कराती है।

39. (d) & (e) For the Makkah Crane accident, Government of Saudi Arabia had announced a compensation of Saudi Riyal 1 million to be paid to the family of each pilgrim killed in the accident, Saudi Riyal 1 million to those pilgrims whose injuries resulted in permanent disability and Saudi Riyal 500,000 for each of the seriously injured pilgrims.

(घ) तथा (ड़) मक्का क्रेन दुर्घटना के लिए साऊदी अरब सरकार के लिए साऊदी 1 मिलियन साऊदी रियाल इस दुर्घटना में मारे गए प्रत्येक हज यात्री के परिजना के परिवार को दिया जाएगा, एक मिलियन सऊदी रियाल उन घायल हज यात्रियों को दिया जाएगा जो स्थायी रूप से विकलांग हो गए हैं और 5,00,000 सऊदी रियाल गंभीर रूप से घायल प्रत्येक हज यात्री को दिया जाएगा।
