भारत के लिए यह संतुष्टि की बात है कि विगत में विकसित देशों द्वारा हमारे कराधान और विधि जिसमें हम बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियों से अपने करों का भुगतान करने के लिए कहते हैं, काफी चिंता व्यक्त की गई थी।

71. * The Prime Ministers expressed deep satisfaction at the conclusion of the Protocol to the 1974 Land Boundary Agreement which paves the way for settlement of the long pending land boundary issues including the undemarcated areas, territories under adverse possession and exchange of enclaves.

* दोनों प्रधानमंत्रियों ने 1974 में संपन्नक भूमि सीमा करार के प्रोतोकॉल पर हस्ताैक्षर किए जाने पर गंभीर संतोष व्य7क्तम किया जिससे असीमांकित क्षेत्रों, प्रतिकूल कब्जेक वाले क्षेत्रों एवं एन्वों के आदान-प्रदान सहित भू-सीमा से जुड़े अन्यस लंबित मुद्दों के समाधान का मार्ग प्रशस्तं होगा।

72. They noted with satisfaction the study visit carried out by experts from the European Commission and the European Medicines Agency (EMEA), which has contributed to a better understanding of the Ayurveda system in order to advance the ongoing regulatory dialogue on the pharmaceutical sector.

उन्होंने यूरोपीय आयोग और यूरोपीय औषधि एजेंसी (ईएमईए) के विशेषज्ञों द्वारा किए गए अध्ययन दौरों पर संतोष व्यक्त किया जिसने भेषज क्षेत्र में वर्तमान विनियामक वार्ता आगे बढ़ाने के निमित्त आयुर्वेद पद्धति की बेहतर समझ हासिल करने में योगदान दिया है।

73. * The Ministers took note with satisfaction of the report of the Focal Points on the progress made by the working groups which met in the New Delhi prior to the Trilateral Commission, namely, Culture, Trade and Investment, Public Administration, Agriculture, Environment, and Information Society.

* मंत्रियों ने त्रिपक्षीय आयोग, नामत: संस्कृति, व्यापार और निवेश, लोक प्रशासन, कृषि, पर्यावरण तथा सूचना समाज की बैठक से पूर्व नई दिल्ली में आयोजित कार्यकारी दलों की बैठकों में हुई प्रगति पर फोकल केंद्रों की रिपोर्ट पर संतोष व्यक्त किया।

74. The two leaders, while expressing satisfaction at the growth of bilateral trade and investment, acknowledged that it was still below the true potential considering the complementarities between the two countries and laid down a target of doubling the trade turnover from current level by 2020.

दोनों नेताओं ने द्विपक्षीय व्यापार और निवेश के वृद्धि पर संतोष व्यक्त किया, स्वीकार किया कि दोनों देशों के अन्योन्याश्रिता को देखते हुए अभी भी यह क्षमता से नीचे है और 2020 तक मौजूदा स्तर के व्यापार कारोबार से दोगुणा करने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया।

75. They also expressed satisfaction that in keeping with the mutual understanding reached at Thimphu during the last SAARC Summit to bridge the trust deficit and restore the dialogue process, that the dialogue had been resumed and that the dialogue had made substantive progress on many issues.

उन्होंने इस बात पर भी संतोष व्यक्त किया कि विश्वास में कमी को दूर करने तथा वार्ता की प्रक्रिया बहाल करने के लिए सार्क की पिछली बैठक के दौरान थिम्पू में हुई आपसी सहमति को ध्यान में रखते हुए वार्ता बहाल हो गई है और यह कि वार्ता से अनेक मुद्दों पर सारवान प्रगति हुई है।

76. We, the Heads of Delegation of the Ninth BIMSTEC Ministerial Meeting, having gathered in New Delhi on 9th August, 2006 reiterated our commitment to the founding objectives and principles of BIMSTEC to accelerate economic and social growth in the region and noted with satisfaction the progress made since we last met.

क्षेत्र के तेजी से आर्थिक और सामाजिक विकास के लिए बिम्सटेक के मूल लक्ष्यों और सिद्धांतों के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराते हैं तथा पिछली बैठक के बाद हुई प्रगति पर संतोष व्यक्त करते हैं ।

77. * The two leaders noted with satisfaction, the support provided by AFD (French Development Agency) to enhance energy efficiency in India, with the ongoing cooperation with the public ESCO EESL (Energy Efficiency Services Limited) for the promotion of LED lighting, and its future support to the construction of green housing, especially for lower income groups.

* दोनों नेताओं ने एल ई डी लाइटिंग को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सार्वजनिक ई एस सी ओ ईईएसएल (एनर्जी इफिसिएंसी सर्विसेस लिमिटेड) के साथ चल रहे सहयोग और विशेष रूप से निम्न आय वर्ग के लिए हरित आवास के निर्माण में इसके भावी समर्थन के साथ भारत में ऊर्जा दक्षता बढ़ाने के लिए ए एफ डी (फ्रांसीसी विकास एजेंसी) द्वारा प्रदान किए गए समर्थन को संतोष के साथ नोट किया।

78. We note with peculiar satisfaction that , by reason of your breadth of views on all questions affecting the progress of India , your appointment has been received with acclamation , not only by the Mohammedan subjects of Her Majesty in India , but by all classes of persons who do not belong to the community of which you are so distinguished a representative .

3 . यह लिपिबद्ध करते हमें विशेष संतोष है कि भारत की प्रगति को प्रभावित करने वाले सभी विषयों पर आपके विचारों के कारण आपकी नियुक्ति का भारत में महामहिम की मुसलमान प्रजा ने ही नहीं बल्कि उन सभी वर्ग के व्यक्तियों ने भी हर्ष के साथ स्वागत किया है जो उस समुदाय से संबंधित नहीं हैं जिसके आप इतने विशिष्ट प्रतिनिधि

79. * The two sides reviewed with satisfaction the comprehensive and rapid progress of India-China relations in the last ten years, and reaffirmed their commitment to abiding by the basic principles and consensus concerning the development of India-China relations set out in the Declaration of Principles for Relations and Comprehensive Cooperation between India and China in 2003, the Joint Statement of India and China in 2005, the India-China Joint Declaration of 2006 and A Shared Vision for the 21st Century of India and China of 2008.

* दोनों पक्षों ने पिछले दस वर्षों के दौरान भारत-चीन संबंधों की व्यापक और तीव्र प्रगति की समीक्षा की और इस पर संतोष व्यक्त किया। साथ ही उन्होंने वर्ष 2003 में भारत और चीन के बीच संबंधों एवं व्यापक सहयोग से संबद्ध सिद्धांतों की घोषणा, वर्ष 2005 में भारत और चीन द्वारा जारी संयुक्त वक्तव्य,वर्ष 2006 में जारी भारत-चीन संयुक्त घोषणा तथा वर्ष 2008 में 21वीं सदी के भारत और चीन के साझे विजन में उल्लिखित बुनियादी सिद्धांतों के प्रति अपनी वचनबद्धता की पुष्टि की।
