राष्ट्रपति सरकोजी ने विकास की चुनौतियों के समाधान के नए तरीकों पर कुछ रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने के लिए बिल गेट्स को भी आमंत्रित किया है, तथा समूह द्वारा इस रिपोर्ट पर भी नजर डाली जाएगी।

We have all agreed that the Group of 20 is the appropriate international forum to discuss global economic issues and I am confident that when President Sarkozy convenes the meeting of the G20 later in the year, issues like fluctuations and volatility of food prices and oil prices would figure high on the agenda.

हम लोगों ने सहमति व्यक्त की है कि जी-20 ही वैश्विक आर्थिक मुद्दों पर चर्चा करने के लिए उपयुक्त आर्थिक मंच है और मुझे विश्वास है कि राष्ट्रपति सरकोजी द्वारा इस वर्ष बाद में बुलाई जाने वाली जी-20 की बैठक में खाद्य एवं तेल के मूल्यों में हो रहे उतार-चढ़ाव को कार्यसूची में प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी।
