उम्मीद है कि इस चेअर की स्थापना, शिक्षाविदों के आदान-प्रदान के माध्यम से शैक्षिक और सांस्कृतिक संबंधों को बढ़ावा देने एवं उन्हें मजबूत बनाने तथा भारत के बारे में शैक्षिक ज्ञान और जागरूकता बढ़ाने के भारतीय सांस्कृतिक संबंध परिषद के बृहद् अधिदेश को आगे बढ़ाने में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम होगी ।
