1. The Bible foretold that Jesus would not “reprove simply according to the thing heard by his ears” —or as the Contemporary English Version renders it, he “won’t . . . listen to rumors.”

2. 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord; and he shall not ajudge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.

3 और प्रभु के भय में सहजता से ज्ञान प्राप्त करेगा; और वह मुंह देखा न्याय न करेगा, और न अपने कानों के सुनने के अनुसार निर्णय करेगा ।
