विश्व के दो सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र जो एशिया - प्रशांत एवं हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र को जोड़ते हैं, के नेता के रूप में तथा अपनी इस सहमति को प्रतिबिंबित करते हुए कि भारत एवं संयुक्त राज्य के बीच घनिष्ठ साझेदारी इन क्षेत्रों में शांति, समृद्धि एवं स्थिरता को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अपरिहार्य है, हम इस क्षेत्र के लिए एक संयुक्त्सामरिक विजन पर सहमत हुए हैं।

यह मुसलमानों के प्रति उनकी भावनाओं का प्रतीक था , ऋसके कुछ वर्षो तक उसी तरह का वातावरण निर्मित किया , जैसाकि किसी समय भक्ति आंदोलन के बडें पवक्तओं या कबीर और गुरू नानक द्वारा उत्पन्न किया गया था . यद्यपि मुस्लिर्मलीग और कांग्रेस के बीच की कटुतापूर्ण लडऋआऋ ने इस सदभावना को नष्ट कर दिया किंतु यह तथ्य कि हमारे समय में एक बार सदभावना स्थापित हुयी थी , प्रकट करता है कि राजनैतिक समझऋता से मक्त विशुद्ध धर्म हिंदू और मुसलमानों के बीच की दूरी नहीं बढऋआते बल्कि उनको एक दूसरे के अधिक निकट लाने में सहायक होते है
