56. It can be tiring to keep resisting the allures of the world, perhaps to the disappointment of relatives who encourage us to “make something” of ourselves.

साथ ही, दुनिया की लुभावनी बातों को लगातार ठुकराना भी बड़ा थकाऊ हो सकता है। हमें ऐसा करते देख शायद हमारे रिश्तेदार हमें बुरा-भला कहें क्योंकि वे चाहते होंगे कि हम दुनिया में “कुछ कर दिखाएँ।”

57. Although Jehovah allows us to kill animals for food and clothing or to protect ourselves from harm, we must exercise that authority in a balanced, kind way.

78. Our earlier mindset of broadening our options in a more structured world has to give way to the understanding that the rigidity of positions and alliances no longer hold and we ourselves are increasingly one of the poles.

एक अधिक संरचित विश्व में हमारे विकल्पों को व्यापक करने की हमारी पूर्व मानसिकता के स्थान पर यह समझ अपनाई जानी होगी कि पदों और संधियों में हठधर्मी अब कोई स्थान नहीं रखती है तथा हम स्वयं विश्व के एक स्तंभ का रूप धारण कर चुके हैं।

80. (Hebrews 4:12) Many have been helped by God’s Word and spirit to overcome drug addiction and apply the counsel: “Let us cleanse ourselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in God’s fear.”—2 Corinthians 7:1.
