2. * India and Bulgaria have agreed to offer reciprocal support for their bids for a non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council for 2011-12 and 2018-19 respectively.

* भारत और बुल्गारिया क्रमश: 2011-12 और 2018-19 के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में अस्थायी सीट के लिए अपनी दावेदारी के प्रति पारस्परिक समर्थन पर सहमत हुए ।

3. India and Mongolia have also agreed to offer reciprocal support for their bids for a non-permanent seat in the UNSC for the terms 2021-2022 and 2023-2024 respectively.

भारत और मंगोलिया क्रमश: 2021-2022 और 2023-2024 के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में अस्थाई सीट के लिए एक - दूसरे के प्रस्ताव के परस्पर समर्थन पर भी सहमत हुए हैं।

4. She thanked Africa for its support for India's elections to the non-permanent seat in UN Security Council and received wide acclamation when she enunciated India's desire to continued consultation with Africa on African problems.

उन्होंने संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद में अस्थायी सीट के लिए भारत के निर्वाचन हेतु अफ्रीका के समर्थन के लिए धन्यवाद दिया और जब उन्होंने अफ्रीका की समस्याओं पर अफ्रीका के साथ निरंतर विचार-विमर्श की भारत की इच्छा का उल्लेख किया तो उनकी व्यापक सराहना की गई ।

5. The two Prime Ministers affirmed the urgent need for comprehensive reform of the UN Security Council, especially its expansion in both permanent and non-permanent categories, to make it more representative, legitimate, effective and responsive to the realities of the 21st century.

दोनों प्रधानमंत्रियों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के व्यापक सुधार, खासकर स्थाई एवं अस्थाई दोनों वर्गों में इसके विस्तार, जिससे कि यह ज्यादा प्रतिनिधित्वपूर्ण, वैधानिक, कारगर और 21वीं सदी की वास्तविकताओं के प्रति ज्यादा क्रियाशील बने, के लिए तात्कालिक जरूरत पर बल दिया।

6. Discussions noted the excellent bilateral cooperation in international fora, including reciprocal support for non-permanent seat in the UNSC, for Croatia in 2008-09 and for India in 2011-12, and the affinity in the approach to the expansion of the UNSC.

सन् 2011-12 में भारत के लिए अस्थायी सीट के लिए पारस्परिक समर्थन तथा संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के विस्तार के दृष्टिकोण में सादृश्य पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त की गई ।

The Ministers affirmed the urgent need for a comprehensive reform of the UN Security Council, especially its expansion in both permanent and non-permanent categories, to make it more representative, effective and responsive to contemporary challenges to international peace and security in the 21st Century.

दोनों विदेश मंत्रियों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के व्यापक सुधार, विशेष रूप से स्थाई एवं अस्थाई दोनों श्रेणियों में इसके विस्तार की तत्काल आवश्यकता की पुष्टि की ताकि इसे 21वीं शताब्दी में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय शांति एवं सुरक्षा के लिए समकालीन चुनौतियों के प्रति अधिक अनुक्रियाशील, प्रतिनिधिमूलक एवं कारगर बनाया जा सके।

दोनों प्रधानमंत्रियों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र के व्यापक सुधार, विशेष रूप से स्थाई एवं अस्थाई दोनों श्रेणियों में सुरक्षा परिषद के विस्तार की तत्काल आवश्यकता की पुष्टि की ताकि उसे अधिक प्रतिनिधिमूलक, जायज, कारगर और समकालीन भू-राजनीतिक सच्चाइयों के प्रति अनुक्रियाशील बनाया जा सके।

9. These principles are: expansion in both permanent and non-permanent categories of membership; greater representation for developing countries, including representation for developed countries that is reflective of contemporary world realities; and comprehensive improvement in the working methods of the Security Council, including ensuring greater access to island and small states.

ये सिध्दांत हैं- सदस्यता की स्थाई और अस्थाई दोनों श्रेणियों में विस्तार, विकासशील देशों के लिए अधिक प्रतिनिधित्व जिसमें विकसित देशों का प्रतिनिधित्व शामिल है अर्थात प्रतिनिधित्व विश्व की समकालीन सच्चाइयों का द्योतक हो, और द्वीपों एवं छोटे राज्यों को अधिक पहुंच का सुनिश्चय करने के साथ सुरक्षा परिषद के काम करने के ढंग में व्यापक सुधार।
