1. The Nepalese side also requested to remove Quantitative Restrictions (QRs) on the four Nepalese export products namely Vegetable fats, copper products, Acrylic Yarn and Zinc Oxide.

नेपाली पक्ष ने चार नेपाली निर्यात उत्पा दों अर्थात वनस्प ति फैट, कापर के उत्पानद, एक्रेलिक यार्न तथा जिंक आक्सा इड पर मात्रात्मपक प्रतिबंध (क्यूी आर) को भी हटाने का अनुरोध किया।

2. Nepalese can work in India without a work permit, open bank accounts and own property.

नेपाली भारत में बिना किसी कार्य परमिट के काम कर सकते हैं, बैंक खाता खेल सकते हैं और अपनी संपत्ति रख सकते हैं।

आज १५० से अधिक सामुदायिक रेडियो स्टेशन हैं जिन्हें नेपाल सरकार की ओर से लाइसेंस दिया गया है।

9. (a) There are certain outstanding dues payable by the Government of Nepal on account of purchase of defence supplies from India for use by the Royal Nepalese Army.

(क)शाही नेपाली सेना के उपयोग के लिए भारत से रक्षा आपूर्तियों की खरीद से संबंधित कुछ बकाया नेपाल सरकार के लिए देय है ।

10. Raxaul-Birgunj and other crossings have been witnessing sit-ins and protests by the Madhesis on the Nepalese side and they are not allowing cargo traffic to go through.

रक्सौल – बीरगंज तथा अन्य क्रासिंग प्वाइंट पर नेपाली साइड में मधेशी बैठे हुए हैं तथा धरना प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं और वे कार्गो ट्रैफिक को अंदर जाने नहीं दे रहे हैं।

11. Encouraging voices were heard from Nepalese leaders from afar that the Constitution will carry along all regions and sections, and will become the focal point of a progressive, modern and united Nepal.

दूर बैठे सभी नेताओं की ओर से यह उत्साहवर्धक आवाज़ सुनाई देती थी कि संविधान सभी क्षेत्रों और वर्गों को साथ लेकर तथा नेपाल के उज्ज्वल भविष्य का केंद्र बिन्दु बनकर एक प्रगतिशील, आधुनिक और संघठित नेपाल का निर्माण करेगा ।

12. In this context, the Nepalese side requested the Prime Minister of India for waiver of the dues outstanding as on date owned by the Government of Nepal to the Government of India on account of defense purchases.

इस संदर्भ में नेपाली पक्ष ने भारत के प्रधान मंत्री से आज की तिथि के अनुसार बकाया देयों को माफ करने का अनुरोध किया जो नेपाल सरकार की ओर से रक्षा संबंधी खरीदों के लिए भारत सरकार को देय है।

13. At the request of the Nepalese side, the Joint Commission acknowledged the need to relax the requirement of Indian content for the road projects included in the US$ 250 million LoC and agreed that the Indian content requirement would be reduced to 50 %.

नेपाली पक्ष के अनुरोध पर संयुक्त आयोग ने 250 मिलियन अमरीकी डालर के लाइन ऑफ क्रेडिट में शामिल सड़क परियोजनाओं के लिए भारतीय अंतर्वस्तु की आवश्यकता में ढील देने की आवश्यकता को अभिस्वीकार किया तथा इस बात पर सहमति हुई कि भारतीय अंतर्वस्तु संबंधी आवश्यकता को घटाकर 50 प्रतिशत किया जाएगा।

14. The enquiry concludes, inter-alia, that "A responsible and transparent handling of the incident, which had caused the death of two civilians (Indian and Nepalese) and injured several Indian nationals, has directly contributed towards pacifying the Indian community in Bangui and underscored the accidental nature of this incident”.

इस जांच-पड़ताल के निष्कर्षों में, अन्य बातों के साथ-साथ, उल्लेख है कि "इस घटना, जिसमें दो नागरिकों (भारतीय तथा नेपाली) की मौत हुई थी तथा कई भारतीय नागरिक जख्मी हुए थे, की जिम्मेदारी पूर्ण एवं पारदर्शी जांच ने प्रत्यक्ष रूप से बांगुई में भारतीय समुदाय की भावनाओं को शांत करने की कोशिश की है और इस घटना के दुर्घटनामूलक पक्ष को कम करके आंका गया है।"

15. The Nepalese side requested India to allow three additional air entry points at Janakpur, Bhairahawa and Nepalgunj, and cross border direct routes to facilitate direct flights between regional airports Pokhara-Bhirahawa-Lucknow as this would save time and cost for air travelers and also improve air connectivity between India and Nepal.

नेपाली पक्ष ने भारत से जनकपुर, भैराहवा और नेपालगंज में तीन अतिरिक्त एयर एंट्री प्वादइंट तथा सीमा सीधे पार करने के लिए मार्गों की अनुमति देने के लिए अनुरोध किया ताकि क्षेत्रीय एयरपोर्ट पोखरा – भैराहवा – लखनऊ के बीच सीधी उड़ानें संभव हो सकें क्योंककि इससे हवाई यात्रा करने वाले लोगों के लिए समय एवं लागत की बचत होगी और भारत एवं नेपाल के बीच हवाई संयोजकता में सुधार होगा।
