1. We agree to promote maritime cooperation, including through engagement in the ASEAN Maritime Forum (AMF) and its expanded format, to address common challenges on maritime issues, including sea piracy, search and rescue at sea, maritime environment, maritime security, maritime connectivity, freedom of navigation, fisheries, and other areas of cooperation.

* सहयोग को कारगर बनाने के लिए हमें वार्ता के माध्यम से तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कानून के स्वीकृत सिद्धांतों के आधार पर तेजी से एशिया – प्रशांत क्षेत्र में बकाया समुद्री विवादों का समाधान करने की जरूरत है।

71. * Joint activities including trilateral exercises, maintaining lines of communication on illegal maritime activities, formulation of marine oil pollution response contingency plans and cooperation in legal and policy issues related to piracy.

3. त्रिपक्षीय अभ्यास समेत संयुक्त गतिविधियां, गैर कानूनी समुद्री गतिविधियों पर संचार की लाइनें बनाए रखना, समुद्री तेल प्रदूषण प्रत्युत्तर के लिए आकस्मिक योजनाएं बनाना तथा जलदस्युता से संबंधित कानूनी एवं नीतिगत मुद्दों में सहयोग।

72. In addition, there are national, bilateral and plurilateral cooperative endeavours in play in the fields of maritime domain awareness, coastal surveillance and white shipping that contribute to larger oceanic security and safety.

इसके अतिरिक्त, समुद्री क्षेत्र जागरूकता, तटीय निगरानी और ह्वाइट शिपिंग जो वृहद महासागरीय रक्षा और सुरक्षा में योगदान देता है, के क्षेत्र में राष्ट्रीय, द्विपक्षीय और बहुपक्षीय सहयोग संबंधी प्रयास किए जाते हैं।

73. They recall the necessity of the international community fully gauging the consequences of compromised maritime security and adopting effective solutions, such as the adaptation of antipiracy measures in the Horn of Africa

74. * The two Prime Ministers expressed satisfaction at the ongoing cooperation to address common security concerns, such as in the areas of counter-terrorism, maritime security, cyber security and illicit drug trafficking.

75. Our focus, including in our bilateral dialogues and cooperative activities with neighboring states in Southeast Asia and East Asia, has been on issues like border security, maritime security, counter terrorism and energy security.

जिससे एशियाई क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण गैर एशियाई संस्थाओं का भी प्रवेश होता है । दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया और पूर्व एशिया में पड़ोसी देशों के साथ अपने द्विपक्षीय संवाद और सहयोग क्रियाकलापों में हमारा ध्यान सीमा सुरक्षा, समुद्री सुरक्षा, आतंकवादरोध और ऊर्जा सुरक्षा जैसे मसलों पर केंद्रित रहा है ।

76. (a) whether it is a fact that the exploration work by India in the oil fields of Vietnam under the South China maritime region, has been held in abeyance due to China's opposition;

(क) क्या यह सच है कि दक्षिणी चीन के समुद्री क्षेत्र के अन्तर्गत वियतनाम के तेल क्षेत्रों में भारत द्वारा किया जाने वाला खोज कार्य चीन के विरोध के कारण खटाई में पड़ गया है;

77. They affirmed expansion of cooperation in maritime security including safety and freedom of navigation and anti-piracy activities, by promoting bilateral and multilateral exercises, and through information sharing, as well as dialogues.

उन्होंने द्विपक्षीय एवं बहुपक्षीय अभ्यासों को बढ़ावा देने के जरिए तथा सूचनाओं का आदान-प्रदान और संवादों के जरिए नौवहन की सुरक्षा एवं स्वतंत्रता तथा जल दस्युता रोधी गतिविधियों सहित समुद्रीय सुरक्षा के संबंध में अन्य प्रकार के सहयोग का विस्तार करने की पुष्टि की।

78. The two leaders also agreed to intensify cooperation in maritime security to ensure freedom of navigation and unimpeded movement of lawful shipping and commercial activity, in accordance with accepted principles of international law.

दोनों नेताओं ने नौवहन की स्वतंत्रता एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय कानून के स्वीकार्य सिद्धांतों के अनुरूप कानूनी नौवहन एवं वाणिज्यिक कार्य-कलापों का अबाधित संचालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए समुद्री सुरक्षा में सहयोग बढ़ाने पर भी सहमति जताई।

79. Conscious of our particular responsibility to the safety and security of the Indian Ocean, we have been active in promoting maritime domain awareness, concluding White Shipping Agreements, ensuring coastal surveillance and conducting hydrographic services.

हिंद महासागर की सुरक्षा एवं रक्षा के लिए हमारी विशेष जिम्मेदारी के प्रति सचेत होने के कारण, हम समुद्री क्षेत्र में जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देने में सक्रिय हैं। हमने व्हाइट शिपिंग समझौते का समापन करके तटीय निगरानी को सुनिश्चित किया है और जल सर्वेक्षण सेवाओं का आयोजन किया है।
