माननीय उपराष्ट्रपति की यात्रा का अंतिम चरण मलावी है।

2. I grew up in Nkhoma, a small town near Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi.

मैं मलावी की राजधानी लिलॉन्गवे के पास के एक छोटे-से शहर, अंगकोम में पली-बढ़ी।

3. His Excellency the President expressed great satisfaction on strong bonds and mutually beneficial relations between Malawi and India.

महामहिम राष्ट्रपति ने मलावी और भारत के बीच सुदृढ़ संबंधों तथा पारस्परिक दृष्टि से लाभप्रद रिश्तों पर अत्यधिक संतोष व्यक्त किया।

4. That visit served to revitalise India’s relationship with Malawi by establishing high level political contact, increasing development cooperation and creating a larger matrix of economic engagement.

इस यात्रा के जरिए उच्चस्तरीय राजनैतिक सम्पर्क स्थापित हुए। विकास सहयोग को बढ़ावा मिला और आर्थिक कार्यकलापों के एक बृहत्तर परिवेश का सृजन हुआ जिससे मलावी के साथ भारत के संबंधों के संवर्धन का मार्ग प्रशस्त हुआ।

5. * The Government of Malawi thanked the Government of India for its development assistance made available, mainly through the EXIM BANK, Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme, and the Commonwealth African Assistance Plan.

* मलावी सरकार ने मुख्यत: एक्जिम बैंक, भारतीय तकनीकी एवं आर्थिक सहयोग कार्यक्रम तथा राष्ट्रमंडल अफ्रीकी सहायता योजना के जरिए उपलब्ध कराई गई विकास सहायता के लिए भारत सरकार को धन्यवाद दिया।

6. Both sides noted that India has gained expertise and capacity in the area of agriculture, health, education and renewable energy and is in a position to enhance cooperation with Malawi in these sectors.

दोनों पक्षों ने यह नोट किया कि भारत ने कृषि, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में विशेषज्ञता और क्षमता अर्जित की है तथा वह इन क्षेत्रों में मलावी के साथ सहयोग में वृद्धि करने की स्थिति में है।
