2. Such a strategy could include, for example, incentives for investment in low-carbon solutions.

उदाहरण के लिए, ऐसी रणनीति में कम कार्बन वाले समाधानों में निवेश करने के लिए प्रोत्साहन शामिल हो सकते हैं।

3. Equally, our entrepreneurs should explore opportunities in new areas such as biotechnology, advanced materials, renewable energy and low carbon technologies.

साथ ही जैव प्रौद्योगिकी, उन्नत सामग्री, नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा और न्यून कार्बन प्रौद्योगिकी जैसे नए क्षेत्रों में भी हमारे उद्यमियों को अवसरों का पता लगाना चाहिए।

4. This will also provide a mechanism for countries like India to access and develop technologies that leave a low carbon footprint.

इससे भारत को न्यून कार्बन उर्त्सजन की प्रविधि एवं प्रौद्योगिकियां विकसित करने की मैकेनिज्म उपलब्ध होगी।

5. We have started pricing carbon, incentivizing afforestation and greatly expanding the use of low carbon and renewable technologies and improving energy efficiency.

हमने कार्बन पर मूल्य आरोपित करना, वानिकीकरण को प्रोत्साहित करना शुरू कर दिया है तथा कम कार्बन और नवीकरणीय प्रौद्योगिकियों के प्रयोग में काफी विस्तार कर रहे हैं तथा अपनी ऊर्जा दक्षता में सुधार कर रहे हैं।

6. We have taken several domestic initiative including pricing carbon, incentivizing afforestation and expanding the use of low carbon and renewable technologies and improving energy efficiency.

हमने कार्बन पर मूल्य लगाना, वानिकीकरण को प्रोत्साहित करने सहित अनेक घरेलू पहलें शुरू की हैं तथा लो-कार्बन एवं नवीकरणीय प्रौद्योगिकियों के प्रयोग का विस्तार कर रहे हैं और अपनी ऊर्जा दक्षता में सुधार ला रहे हैं।

7. Firstly, we must negotiate to establish a global climate change regime that does not restrict our energy options, nor imposes on us the costs of adjustment to a low-carbon economy.

प्रथम, हमें एक वैश्विक जलवायु परिवर्तन व्यवस्था की स्थापना करने के लिए बातचीत करनी चाहिए जो न तो ऊर्जा विकल्पों को प्रतिबंधित करे और न ही अल्प-कार्बन अर्थव्यवस्था के साथ समायोजन की लागत का भार हमारे ऊपर डाले।

8. Mention may be made of its success in areas such as improving the life of LD lining , development of high strength alloy steel , iron ore washing , development of low carbon steel and so on .

इसकी सफलता की चर्चा उन क्षेत्रों में भी की जा सकती है जैसे एल . डी . लाइनिंग के जीवन को उन्नत करना , उच्च शक्ति के मिश्रित इस्पात का विकास , कच्चे लोहे की धुलाई , कम कार्बनयुक्त इस्पात का विकास आदि - आदि .

9. In multilateral negotiations on climate change, it will be our effort to evolve a global regime which does not unduly restrict our energy options, nor imposes significant costs of adjustment to a low-carbon economy.

जलवायु परिवर्तन से संबद्ध बहुपक्षीय वार्ताओं में हमारा प्रयास एक ऐसी वैश्विक व्यवस्था का निर्माण करने का होगा जो बिना मतलब के हमारे ऊर्जा विकल्पों पर प्रतिबंध नहीं लगाए और न ही अल्प-कार्बन अर्थव्यवस्था में परिवर्तन के लिए समायोजन हेतु अधिक व्यय का कारण बने।

10. In this light, they praised the activities of Global Superior Energy Performance Partnership (GSEP) with the aim of promoting best practices and spreading high-efficient and low-carbon technologies in the industrial sectors (steel, cement and power) under public-private partnership.

इस आलोक में, उन्होंने ग्लोबल सुपीरियर एनर्जी परफार्मेंस पार्टनरशिप (जी एस ई पी) की गतिविधियों की प्रशंसा की जिसका उद्देश्य सार्वजनिक – निजी साझेदारी के अंतर्गत औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों (इस्पात, सीमेंट एवं विद्युत) में सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं को बढ़ावा देना तथा अधिक दक्षता वाली एवं कम कार्बन उत्पन्न करने वाली प्रौद्योगिकियों का प्रसार करना है।

11. In this regard, the Two Sides decide to enhance high-level bilateral dialogue on domestic climate policies and multilateral negotiations and to further strengthen practical bilateral cooperation, including in areas of clean energy technologies, energy conservation, energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable transportation including electronic vehicles, low-carbon urbanization and adaptation.

इस संदर्भ में दोनों पक्षों ने घरेलू जलवायु नीतियों और बहुपक्षीय वार्तालाप पर उच्च स्तरीय आपसी संवाद बढ़ाने तथा स्वच्छ ऊर्जा प्रौद्योगिकियों, ऊर्जा दक्षता, नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा, इलैक्ट्रॉनिक वाहनों सहित स्थायी परिवहन, अल्प-कार्बन शहरीकरण और अनुकूलन सहित स्थायी व्यवहारिक आपसी सहयोग को सशक्त बनाने का फैसला किया है।
